Cape Town – Their skills on the soccer field get South Africans talking every weekend, but who are the lovely ladies at their sides?
Here are some of our country’s most famous soccer stars – past and present – and their gorgeous partners.
1. 48-year-old former Kaizer Chiefs star Lucas Radebe primarily played centre-back and later became captain of Leeds United and Bafana Bafana.
After losing his first wife to cancer in 2008, Lucas found love again and married Thobela Silver in 2015.
2. Former Bafana Bafana captain Steven Pienaar (35), who retired this year, recently posted a snap of him and wife Awa Abduleau, captioned: “Thanks for the support for the last 10 years.”
3. 33-year-old midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala captains Kaizer Chiefs in the Premier Soccer League.
He was also the first player to score a goal at the 2010 Fifa World Cup – and also scored former miss SA Bokang Montjane as his wife.
4. Former Orlando Pirates player Andile Jali now plays for KV Oostende in the Belgian Pro League.
The 27-year-old soccer star is married to beautiful businesswoman Nonhle Ndala.
5. Daine Klate (33) is a midfielder for Bidvest Wits and is married to the lovely Stacey Klate.
