Former Generations actress Zikhona Sodlaka mourns the death of her mom
NOTHING can ever prepare anybody for death, because death is an imminent event. Former Generations actress Zikhona Sodlaka is mourning the passing of her mother, who passed today after a long illness. The star took to her social media to share the sad news, saying while she is saddened by the passing for her mother.
She also thanked those, who have been supporting her and the family during this time of bereavement.
“I am deeply saddened at the sudden passing of my beloved mother, though she had been ill for a while, nothing in the world ever prepared my family and I for the pain and grief we carry heavily in our hearts. I am blessed though to be surrounded by so many that are carrying me through this difficult time, with their prayers, support and love. I see you and I thank you for being there,” she wrote. She further wrote that her mother will be buried this coming Saturday.
Meanwhile, DJ Junior De Khoza also shared an emotional message on his Instagram about his late father with whom he shares a birthday. “A bit of a emotional day for me because I share birthdays with my late father. A Bitter sweet moment but grateful to have found myself when I thought I was lost.
Grateful to have my family not worrying about the financial gap of my father’s death. It has been filled in no time with bigger and better blessings coming soon. Turned 27 years old today and already starting to feel like I’m a corpse ??… happy birthday to me anyways,” he wrote.
