Latest On Brutus Leaving The Queen Mzansi
The Queen Mzansi’s all-time favourite Tv actor Themba Ndaba, who portrays the character of Brutus on the show, has joined the cast of Mzansi Magic’s new telenovela, which is set to hit our television screens soon.
In a statement, Mzansi Magic released they said, Gomora will make its debut on the 30th of March. The telenovela will dominate the timeslot of Isethembiso, which has been canned by the channel due to poor ratings.
Gomora will also star veteran actress Connie Chiume and other notable names such as Thembi Seete, Katlego Danke and Zolisa Xaluva. The star-studded cast is set to bring a brilliantly true to life texture to the series.
What left many tongues wagging was the fact that Themba Ndaba is part of the telenovela, many thought he might have left The Queen.
Speaking to ZAlebs today, Mzansi Magic’s Publicists Irvin Pooe said: “Themba Ndaba is not leaving The Queen.”

The news of the new telenovela has left Mzansi with questions, on whether the show will survive because it replaces a show which did not do well.
Nomsa Philiso, Channel Director at Mzansi Magic said “Our customers are in for a real treat with Gomora. It is a refreshing new series that narrates a riveting homegrown story and features a rich tapestry of strong female characters. These are just some of the elements our viewers can expect from Africa’s most-loved storyteller,” she said.
