Minnie Dlamini & hubby robbed at a red traffic light – She lost her R200 000 wedding ring

Minnie Dlamini opens up about her stolen R200 000 Wedding Ring! TV personality and Homeground presenter Minnie Dlamini’s wedding ring, which was stolen during a robbery, has been replaced.

Dlamini and her photographer husband Quinton Jones reported two different cases of theft and robbery in February last year, during which they claimed that the Mzansi Magic presenter had lost her wedding ring worth more than R200 000, which was partly sponsored by Jenna Clifford, a top-notch jewellery designer

This week, Dlamini was spotted wearing a bling ring at numerous events, including at work, sparking claims that the ring might have been found.

However, Minnie’s brother and manager Maphe Dlamini said the ring she was spotted flaunting on Instagram was a replacement. He refused to indicate whether insurance company Galileo Financial Services had approved the payout for the luxurious piece of jewellery.

Sunday World reported in February last year that the former Soccer Zone presenter had reported a case of robbery at Randburg police station, stating that robbers had pounced on her and her husband Jones while waiting at a red traffic light in Randburg during the night.

Dlamini had told the police that thugs had threatened her with an unknown sharp object, forced her to open the window and had then robbed them.

According to the police statement, the popular model had also lost her wallet and cellphones during the incident.

A few months later, Dlamini’s husband registered a case in which he claimed he was robbed of items worth R15 000 at a shopping centre.
