SAD: Actress Thandeka Mdeliswa Dies………….Reportedly Shot Dead

The Mzansi soapie scene has been robbed of another great young talent. Confirmed news suggests that actress Thandela Mdeliswa has died. The 27-year-old was confirmed dead by family on the 5th of September 2020. Mdeliswa is best known for her role on SABC 1 show, Ikani. She was 27.

The cause of death has not been made public but Entertainment Commentator and TV Host Kgopolo Mphela said, “Guys, I’m aware of the cause of death. It wasn’t a car accident or illness. But until the family makes the details available, it’s not my place to share it, for now. It’s a sensitive situation. She passed 2 days ago. My RIP is to not let her death go unacknowledged.”

Thandeka Mdeliswa is known to be the young actress who played 25-year-old Khanya on drama Ikani.. She previously landed minor roles on local soaps Generations: The Legacy, Isidingo, and Rhythm City, and a bigger one on the SABC1 short story series Ngempela.

She made her breakthrough after landing a leading role in Ikani, and she said it was “a dream come true” for her.
