Makhadzi Shows Off Swanky New Dance To Rival Jerusalema

South African musician Makhadzi is going viral after she posted a video showing off a swanky new dance, which her fans have described as the new Jerusalema.

The Matorokisi hitmaker, who was born Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, introduced the new dance at a wedding she attended over the weekend.

Writing on social media, Makhadzi said that the new dance came about when she performed at Khathu’s wedding. Said Makhadzi,

“I was at Khathu’s wedding this past weekend and I performed this song, everyone joined and then this is how the dance came about,”

Makhadzi also said that she is working on releasing her new album Kokovha soon. The musician added,

Some of Makhadzi’s fans are positive that the musician’s new dance is the next big thing after Jerusalema. Master KG and Nomcebo’s hit song Jerusalema has gone viral across the world and has now reached over 160 million views on Youtube. The song has also sparked a global #JerusalemaDanceChallenge which has seen celebrities and global superstars joining in.

Responding to Makhadzi’s new dance, some of her fans wrote,

However, despite Makhadzi’s reassurances that the album is coming out soon, many of her fans are not convinced and have called on the musician to release the eagerly anticipated album as soon as possible.
