Vuyo Dabula who plays the role of the thug in a suit, Kumkani Phakade on Generations The Legacy, has become a fan favorite on the show and has made a mark as one of the main characters.

Vuyo Dabula and castmate, Pearl Monama who plays Spesihle recently had fun behind the scenes.

The two posted a picture having fun looking cosy together, which left fans wondering if there was more to their friendship.

Spesihle plays the royal girl who married into the Moroka family.

The two have shared some onscreen time together in some scenes and they decided to have a one for the road picture.

Vuyo Dabula was snapped while lifting Pearl Monama in his arms.

Although the fans are speculating, the two are just good friends and castmates and decided to get creative for the photo.

Pearl Monama has spoken about her character in the past saying Spesihle is different from her in real life.

I have really enjoyed my role on the show so far but the most challenging part has been moving with her through her different situations. When she started she was humble and respectful. Now she is something else. She backchats her parents and fights with her in-laws. Her character gets backlash but I have learnt to understand that there is a difference between the character and me.”

Pearl Monama said that she’s learnt to not take criticism about her character too seriously.

Pearl Monama said getting strong reactions from the fans toward Spesihle, means she is doing a good job in portraying her and bringing out emotions, so she doesn’t take it personally.
