Lady Du Announces Big News
Lady Du in recent months has had a polarising relationship with social media. This is as the popular Amapiano vocalist has seen it fit to provide inspiration via her social media pages. Inspiration for some reason that seems to rub people the wrong way and have them coming for her in the comments section.
However, that does not mean that has deterred her from sharing inspiration and advice. Whether it is on understanding the legalities of the music industry or the significance of saving your earnings while you are still the “IT” artist for the eventuality when you are not. The good sis has been dropping gems.
While in the past she has asserted that she is the owner of multiple properties and cars that she bought cash. The star recently took to social media to showcase her latest investment.
Lady Du opens her own beauty parlour
Back in December 2022, was the first time that the news of Lady Du venturing into the beauty sector were reported. According to online publication Zkhiphani, Lady Du wanted to venture into the space in order to inspire the youth by working with them.
Moreover, when questioned about her experience in the sector, Lady Du made it clear that she has certificates to back her ambitions as she was quoted as explaining:
“I don’t think you guys know all the things I studied, beauty being one of them. After school I studied beauty, travelled the world working on a cruise ship [and] my biggest dream was to own a salon. Music captured me, I focused on it, but now that I can do both, I took my savings, bought a house in the hood so I don’t have to pay rent. I wanted to bring the Sandton experience back to the hood.”
As such, following months of securing her employees and getting her flagship parlour ready, she took to social media to show what the final result looks like. Currently, it is unclear when the official grand opening is set to happen as it seems that the parlour is ready however it has not officially opened for business.
