Investigation into Alleged Extortion Involving Public Figures Continues

The investigation into an alleged case of extortion involving prominent public figures is ongoing.

Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s husband, Mandla Skosana, has provided WhatsApp messages as evidence to support his claim that three Members of Parliament attempted to solicit a bribe from him.

Skosana alleges that former energy minister Tina Joemat-Pettersson, ANC Chief Whip Pemmy Majodina, and Richard Dyantyi, chairperson of the Section 194 inquiry probing Mkhwebane’s fitness to hold office, sought a bribe to influence the outcome of the inquiry.

The Hawks, which are South Africa’s best detectives, have confirmed that they are now looking into the case of alleged extortion. The people who are accused haven’t said anything about the accusations in public yet.

The investigation will continue to determine the veracity of the claims and to hold those involved accountable for their actions. – More HERE
