YFM Presenter Served With Protection On Order During Show

YFM Presenter Caught in Dramatic Scene: Served Protection Order During Show

YFM’s popular presenter, Dimpho Mokgotho, found herself in the midst of a dramatic scene on Sunday as police served her with a protection order just after wrapping up her show.

Dimpho, known for hosting the D Spot with Dimpho on weekends, reportedly ended her program at 2 pm only to be confronted by law enforcement waiting to deliver the order.

The incident unfolded at YFM’s Hyde Park offices, witnessed by staff, security guards, and fellow presenters.

Allegedly, Dimpho and another woman, Masego Kepadisa, have been embroiled in a feud over a man since last year.

The situation escalated with accusations of Dimpho badmouthing Masego to their shared boyfriend from the North West Province.

Sources close to the matter revealed that the two women, once close friends from Mahikeng, fell out when the romantic interest entered the picture.

Dimpho’s alleged actions led Masego to seek legal protection, resulting in the served order.

During the incident, Dimpho was reportedly still on air, unable to leave the studio unattended.

Despite pleas from station management for the police to wait until her show ended, law enforcement remained patient, waiting for over an hour for the broadcast to conclude.

YFM’s station manager, Haseena Cassim, declined to comment when reached for a response. Dimpho also declined to offer a statement, while attempts to contact Masego for comment were unsuccessful.
