A man is currently in police custody after he pulled off a big SASSA scam 70 SASSA cards where found in his possession by the police.
According to the SAPS news report the police received information that the 47 year old man was involved in a SASSA card scam, the Durban police located the man while he was withdrawing money from the different SASSA cards at an ATM on Anton Lambede street.
The police arrested the suspect immediately his Mercedes Benz vehicle, 70 SASSA cards, R7640 in cash where all confiscated the police also went to the man’s home in Umhlanga to do further investigation a USB stick was found further investigation will be done to determine what it contains.
The suspect is currently under police police custody more research will be done to determine how he was able to pull off such scam, he will soon be appearing at the Durban Magistrate’s court to face charges of fraud and possession of stolen property more details surrounding the situation will be released.
People should avoid trying to attain wealth through fraudulent activities these type of things do not end well, crime doesn’t pay the success that comes from crime is always short lived, it’s better to attain wealth through working hard.
