Sophie Ndaba is a South Africa talented actress and businesswoman. She has been in the industry for 27 years. Sophie made her debut on popular soapie Generations, in 1993 as Queen Sebobe, later Queen Moroka.
The energetic receptionist became so popular many of her fans still call her Queen. Before landing the role, Sophie starred in Class of 92 and Egoli. Her other TV appearances include Yizo Yizo, Soul City, Isidingo, and High Rollers.
No doubt she has been through a lot and it’s too hard for one to bear. She has seen her name in daring headlines from death rumours to being broke but she stood her ground and she sailed through the storm. Well, sometimes that’s the price you pay for being a celebrity after all.
A few months ago Sophie Ndaba rubbished rumours that she was going through a nasty divorce but it seems the media was right. Barely a few months the star actress has found herself changing her matrimonial surname to her maiden name. However in wake of that nasty change of name Ndaba finally called it quits.
Well, let’s have a look at her love life, husband and children. In 1998, actress Sophie Ndaba tied the knot with Themba Ndaba. The two had something in common, both did their education in Zimbabwe.
Sophie Ndaba has two children, Rudo and Lwandle with her ex-husband Themba Ndaba. She adopted her niece Shallon Ndaba after her sister Tiny Mphasane’s death over 25 years ago. Their marriage which had spanned for years came to an end. They divorced in 2007.

Max Lichaba (2017-2021)
After turning down Max Lichaba’s proposals several times she finally said yes after close family relatives persuaded her to. Was she right in turning Lichaba proposals down we all guess she was right? Sophie’s wedding to Max Lichaba tied the knot in Italy after deserting in December 2017.
They then celebrated their honeymoon in France. Mr and Mrs Lichaba held a traditional wedding for close family and friends in South Africa a few months later. However few years their marriage went south after Sophie was diagnosed with a chronic illness.
She was even rumoured dead on several accounts. To make matters worse Max started cheating on her to an extend of bedding girlfriends in their matrimonial home. Well, this year Sophie called it quits after Lichaba admitted to cheating.
