A national strike against lockdown?

Hundreds of South Africans are currently firing shots at president Cyril Ramaphosa under #RamaphosaMustFall on Twitter. #RamaphosaMustFall is trending on Twitter with hundreds of people sharing their thoughts on his poor handling of the pandemic. Some are even hinting for a national strike against the recently announced new restrictions under lockdown level 4.

Angry citizens are saying they need to march on Wednesday or else many peoples will continue to lose their jobs because of the lockdown and the alcohol ban.

There are even petitions currently circulating for people to sign so that “Cyril ramaphosa must step down with immediate effect.”

“The guy has failed to fulfill his promises he made to South Africans. This is because he was never gonna be a good President. He’s self driven and wants to enrich him and his friends,” a Duduzane Zuma parody account on Twitter also posted. Many believe that The longer Ramaphosa occupies the office, the greater the mess.

It has not yet been confirmed if the strike will go as planned but here’s what many are saying:
