AKA is definitely in a great place after launching his Touch My Blood album, the rapper is now focused on raising his daughter and growing his company.
With AKA’s Touch My Blood album highlighting the rappers victories, struggles and joys that have made controversial headlines, he said that he was focused on making up for his past mistakes by respecting the mother of his two-year-old daughter Kairo.
“The most important thing is to have respect for the mother of your child, I’ve grown a lot, I made a lot of mistakes, I think it’s important for me to say, I’m no angel, I’m the villain of the story, and everyday I kind of live to make it up to my daughter and my daughters mom…I feel great, I feel revitalized by the music” he said in a recent interview on Gagazi FM
AKA’s fallout on social media with his former producer Tweezy caused quite a stir, but AKA has confirmed that the two have now mended their relationship as they had outgrown their ‘beef.’
“I think it’s important to say that I’m a bit older now in the game…I needed to handle it better as an older person and I didn’t handle it the right way either…we good now though”
Prior to the launch of his album, AKA took to social media posting about finding ‘rocks’ in his bedroom which sparked a conversation around his former lover Bonang Matheba, but as he’s left that in his past, the rapper is now in a better place.
“The rocks have been left in my past…a lot of things have happened in my life over the last few years and the music is really what got me through it, it really revitalised me. I just feel like in terms of the industry and in terms of my craft, I’m just in a good place… the bigger picture for me is to build my company…so for me, I just want to push this album, I’m convinced this is my last album…”
