AMERICAN singer and songwriter Keyshia Cole broke the Internet yesterday when she announced her new name.
The Weakness In Me hitmaker took to social media to announce that her new name is now Khanyisile.
Shortly after announcing her name, Mzansi flooded her comment section.
Radio presenter Khanyisile Magubane explained the meaning of the name to the superstar.
“Hey my namesake… Khanyisile is a beautiful name that you can carry with pride. The name is derived from the word ‘light’, ‘ukukhanya’ in Zulu. Khanyisile means ‘one that has brought light with her’. You bring light to darkness, solutions to problems. You are the light.

“Nkosazane! Siyakwamukela ekhaya,” he said.
The real shock came when she started replying to South Africans in Zulu, which led to many believing she was hacked.
But the musician assured everyone she was not hacked.
