‘ZOLA 7 IS IN GOOD HANDS’

Socialite and business mogul MaMkhize made headlines this week when she met up with legendary musician Zola 7, shared a video of him in one of her Bentleys, and donated R1 million through her Royal AM football club.

Two sources informed City Press that Mkhize pledged to donate the R1 million amount when she met with Zola and her son, Royal AM chairperson Andile Mpisane.

She also trended on social media when she made Zola’s long-term dream of driving a Bentley a reality by letting him drive her blue Bently.

She will transfer the funds to the FNB business account which was provided by Dlamini’s team on Facebook this week.

“Through Royal AM FC, they said they will wire R1 million into the account.”

“The transfer was set to be done on Friday or Saturday morning.”

“It was discussed on Thursday when they met with him.”

“The pledge is through her soccer club, which is obviously her, but officially the donation comes from Royal AM,” the source said.

MAMKHIZE ENCOURAGES THE PUBLIC

Mkhize who is also popular for her generosity with her money also had a lunch date with the star and his team in Sandton.

She also took to her social media platforms to ask fans for more donations to help the media personality.

“Guys, I just want to encourage all of us to do the right thing, especially when it comes to one of our own.”

“Zola is an unsung hero who has been a catalyst for change in our society for many years. Let’s not turn a blind eye.”

Her post was soon flooded with cash donations into Zola’s business account.

“That [Instagram] post really helped in terms of what the country is trying to achieve by getting Zola financial stability,”

“He needs to get the necessary medication and food and get back to his better health as we know him. It’s good to see the country coming together to help him.”

Several stars visited Dlamini at his home in Soweto including Tlou Cleopa “DJ Cleo” Monyepao and televangelist Paseka Motsoeneng, better known as Pastor Mboro.

Mkhize told the publication that her donation was not a publicity stunt but just a good gesture.

“If Zola wants people to know what I have done for him, he’s the one who should say it. All I can say is that Zola is in good hands.”
