One last pose for the camera was so different for the Idols SA hopeful the day he got kicked out of the show.
Could it be that Idols fixed Jooma’s teeth before eminitating him?
The elimination of one Eastern Cape-born hopeful, Jooma, from Idols competition this weekend was one among many Idols acts that left fan disappointed to the T.
Shortly after Jooma was booted out of the show, just before the show stopper’s performances, many viewers of the talent show competition were disappointed on how Jooma was let go before he could feature on the top 7 contestants of the show.
They took to social media to share how disappointed they were about the judges’ decisions.
But one eye catching comments the publication noted was on Jooma’s different look his fans noticed.
Since the beginning of his journey on Idols, 29-year-old, whose real name is Thembani Juma Mize had a cracked tooth which he says he got some two years ago.
It was somehow like his hallmark feature his fans identified him with all this while before he got to the top 16.
Speaking on why he decided to change his looks, Jooma said he believed his missing tooth wasn’t doing him justice in the competition.
“I was comfortable with it and didn’t have a problem until I entered the show.
“I saw that the gap didn’t align with the brand I was creating,” he said.
Twitter users were taken aback with his new look such that his elimination from the show was overlooked as fans started talking about his radical change.
Here are some comments;
“They fixed Jooma’s teeth child. Oh man, he truly looks good, ” one Twitter user with name Inga wrote.
Sinoxolo Mgidi wrote: “Just look at that, he’s got a great smile.”
Theo Thick wrote: “Idols we see you, you fixed Jooma’s tooth.”
Mbongeni wrote: “What happened with Jooma’s half tooth? Idols had it fixed or was it his decision?”
It indeed seems like his opportunity on the show came with benefits and one such benefit was for him to fix his smile.
