It is one thing to be project yourself as an extraordinarily rich person with limitless resources, but it is equally a different kettle of fish altogether to run a DStv Premiership club, many have come and left with tails between their legs.
It is an undeniable and an indisputable fact that Royal AM owner Shawn ‘Mamkhize’ Mkhize is an incredibly blessed person in so far as riches are concerned.
The Durban-based tenderprenuer turned-reality TV star sent shock waves a fortnight ago when she incredulously purchased the topflight status of Bloemfontein Celtic and subsequently relocated the club to KwaZulu-Natal.
That particular quick turn of events came against the backdrop of her legal failure to overturn the PSL’s decision to promote Sekhukhune United at the expense of her club following a tumultuous few weeks of organised chaos in the PSL.
And following two successive losses to Swallows and Cape Town City in the DStv Premiership, it seems the players might not be performing due to many off the field issues that seemingly leading the club to an inevitable implosion.
According to an exclusive report by FARPostZA, there are few issues that are proving problematic for the players.
✅ The players have reportedly boycotted training this morning, Thursday.
✅ A whopping 15 players have not received their remuneration for the month.
✅ Some of the players have only received a portion of their salaries, 50% in most cases.
✅ It is believed Mkhize had promised to give players apartments where they could be able to stay with their families, none has got anything.
