South Africa is home to more than eleven languages. Some people believe this a good thing and makes this country special. Most countries only have one or two languages.
Counties like Lesotho, Botswana and Swaziland have one dialect and English as their official languages. But South Africa has eleven registered official languages that are taught in South African public schools.
Most schools are named after chiefs or their children in many parts of the country. Unfortunately most names are difficult to pronounce especially when do not speak the dialect.
King Monada is also struggling to pronounce the name of one of the primary schools. The name is Senianya. No one knows the dialect the name of the school belongs to. Many have tried pronouncing it with no success. If you have succeeded in pronouncing it, please share with the rest of us.
