Gomora took the whole of Mzanzi by surprise last year as they dominated the annual Royal Soapie Awards. Despite not having a number of seasoned actors on their cast team as compared to other soapies such as Generations, Gomora has managed to pull up a show.
No doubt Gomora has fast become one of the most followed drama series in Mzansi. The drama series has wowed Mzansi of late. Late last year it won big as it scooped several awards due to its interesting storylines. However, in the wake of the newfound fame Langa Ndaba (Siya Xaba) has announced his exit from Gomora.
The star who played the role of Langa has shocked a lot of people after he announced his exit from the soapie.
No one could have anticipated his exit as we all thought that he’d be an integral part of season two. He died following injuries sustained from a fire at Mam Sonto’s tavern.
After spending two nights at the hospital, doctors did all they could to save him but unfortunately, it was not enough. The fire which resulted in the death of Melusi’s son was started by his wife Gladys. No one knows about it yet. She became infuriated after Ntokozo informed her that Mam Sonto was responsible for Mohato’s death.
Siya Xaba was born on the 26th of July 1997 he is 23 years old. On Gomora, he starred as Langa, Thathi’s son, the firstborn of the family who also turns out to be Principal Dlamini’s.
However, in the mix of things little is known about his exit but the star did confirm his exit. Rumour has it the showrunners and the fast rising star parted ways in good books. Back then in 2020, he was poised as one of the fast-rising stars in Mzansi.
Mzansi awaits his new gig. His exit has seen him trending and Mzansi social media users have taken it to social media to share his best moments on screen.
