The singer is said to be taking the next step in his relationship with his longtime girlfriend, Babes Wodumo, by starting the lobola negotiation process.
Mampintsha recently shared a picture of cattle in a kraal, which many believe are going to be used during the lobola process.
Mampintsha proposed to Babes Wodumo during a live radio interview on Gagasi FM.
Babes Wodumo was clearly shocked into silence when Mampintsha got on one knee and proposed and the other radio presenters cheered her on and she eventually said yes.
Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha have had a troubled relationship, that has often been marred with controversy, from allegations of domestic abuse, court cases, drug use infidelity, and Mampintsha has been accused of being too controlling and acting like her handler instead of her boyfriend.
After their engagement, Babes and Mampintsha announced a major TV reality show deal worth a hefty R3 million, with streaming service company Showmax
The couple is set to feature on their own reality show called Uthando Ledumo and it will comprise of 13 episodes.
The show will reportedly focus on the couple’s controversial relationship, their music careers, and their wedding preparations.
Nomsa Philiso, MultiChoice Channel Director also threw in her 2 cents on the show

The show is being produced by Thomas Gumede and Lungile Radu, through their company, Parental Advisory Productions.
Uthando Lodumo premieres on Showmax in February 2021.
