FANS of the SABC2 soapie Muvhango will be thrilled to learn their wildest fantasies are about to once again come to life.
This thanks to the return of super-seductress Matshidiso, played by the oh-so-yummy Buhle Samuels in the prime-time drama.
The actress, who’d been away from the soapie for a year, appealed to the wild side of the audiences’ imagination, thanks to her voluptuous behind.
It was such a big deal it trended in the local wing of black Twitter and inspired the creation of the popular Matshidiso butt-pad underwear, that became a must-have item for most Mzansi women.
Asked for comment, the villainous Matshidiso confirmed she was back.
Said the actress, who’ll start appearing on 23 January: “I’m excited about coming back to Muvhango because it was my breakout role, so it’s good to be back.”
Buhle said she’d left the soapie to pursue other interests.
According to insiders, the sultry actress had been spotted at the SABC’s headquarters in Auckland Park, Jozi, where Muvhango is recorded.
Said an informant: “She’s been shooting for a while now and the producers of the soapie brought her back to spice things up for the show.”
Another insider said the star – loved by the show’s viewers – would add a touch of excitement.
Insisted a second mole: “She’s back to play the wicked character viewers loved to hate.
“The producers are trying to get Muvhango on the radar again because the ratings have dipped since the departure of some of the show’s loved characters.”
When contacted, Muvhango producer Duma Ka Ndlovu’s phone rang unanswered.
