Mzansi is not happy after the new Zulu King Misuzulu Sinqobile kaZwelithini addressed the nation on National Television but could not read his isiZulu speech. This is a clear indication that the Zulu King is not fluent in the native language what more the culture and customs? His address was aimed at those involved in violent acts and looting.

However, many were not pleased and deem the address a failure. Reacting on Twitter, members of the public are disappointed. From the video it can be easily noticed that the King is very fluent in English and many would expect their leader to be fluent in isiZulu.

Here are some of the comments being passed by the upset public:

Eish was so disappointed mei bra.”

“But very Fluent in English. That is something else.”

“It was a disaster boet don’t even wish to see it”

“That is true , it did not go well”

Sources the King holds a degree in International Studies in Jacksonville, Florida. King Misuzulu completed his schooling in Eswatini and later attended High School in South Africa. The King is the oldest surviving son of the late King Goodwill and his wife Queen Mantfombi Dlamini

The day before his mother’s funeral service, King Misuzulu married his partner so as to fulfil the cultural requirements so that he could inherit the throne. The lobola is reported to have consisted of 8 cows and fifty thousand rands in cash. All preceeding are also reported to have gone the right Zulu way.

Since the death of King Goodwill, many rumours circulated and there was a lot of drama going on. It was shocking how soon the Queen also died after being given the reigns. Things finally look to have settled after King Misuzulu got what he customarily deserves.
