Our deepest and most sincere condolences to Thapelo Mokoena and his family. The Trackers actor has revealed that they have loved an important figure in their family – one that has held them together for the longest of time.
“TAKE A BOW maKHUMALO,” wrote the star. “Yesterday afternoon uGogo, one of the Women who home-delivered Me to Life called it a day. 92 Years of God’s absolute Divinity & Presence. A God Force!”
Mokoena attributes his success to his grandmother and thanked her for all the pearls of wisdom. “We are who we are today because of Carol Fikile Msimango. You lived to see, touch & pray over your Great-grandchildren. Thank you for the Life lessons maKhumalo. Thank you for our conversation on Saturday. I won’t forget a thing. I’ll archive all your recordings, videos, voice notes & messages for the future generations.”
The former Generations star also wished strength to his family members and friends who are mourning with him.
“Strength to my Family, Mother, Aunts & Uncles, Brothers & Great-grandchildren. She left us with so many pearls of wisdom. She taught us how to Pray & call on the most high at all times, always remember that. Lala Kahle Weseli elihle. LaLa Kahle maMntungwa. Give uMkhulu a hug for Us.”
Manaka Ranaka is another television star who recently lost a loved one. Taking to social media, she penned a heartfelt message and said that she cries for him every day.
“You entered my life without an invitation! And you left without permission. Not that you needed any. I mean your energetic presence touched so many. I haven’t yet grasped the thought of a life without you. And I weep endlessly for Boo,” penned Manaka. “Ooooh and my dearest Thando, you son. I trust that you will be that bright light that will shine upon him like the rays of the sun.”
In her unfeigned message, she asked her cousin to say hi to her loved ones in heaven. “The Dale will never be the same without you. Say Hi to Iko, Siyasanga, Akhumzi, Moriri, Kagiso le papa Joe. Tell them I miss them dearly. Rest in Power Malome Thabo Elson ThiboGunz Mashigo. You will be missed my dawg,” she added.
