The month of July serves as a double dose of all things celebratory for South Africa’s self proclaimed diamond, Minnie Dlamini – Jones. This past week, she turned a year older and it was also the second anniversary of her traditional marriage to her husband, Quinton Jones.
After heavy partying at the Durban July in Kwa Zulu Natal, Minnie still had a bit of verve left to carry her through the birthday celebrations that lay ahead of her.
The year 1990 was surely a blessed one for the Dlamini family, as they welcomed Minnie as their sweet addition to the family. The multi talented star recently turned 29 and she looked all sorts of stunning at her birthday party – clad in a two piece long floral skirt and crop top by fashion designer extraordinaire, Gert Johan Coetzee. Close friends and industry colleagues showed up and partied away with no care in the world.
Below are just some of the snaps from Minnie’s birthday party as she turned 29!
Quite recently, Minnie has had a lot to celebrate.
Giant car company, Jaguar secured her as brand ambassador. The talented star joined the likes of fellow South African artists, Tumi Morake and Shekhinah. Partnerships are of utmost importance to companies such Jaguar, hence it prides itself in aligning themsleves with only the cream of the crop. Therefore it came as no surprise when the addition of Minnie came about.
The world of business has gained such a juggernaut in Minnie Dlamini, as it was recently reported that the cosmetic industry has gained new competition, after the formation of MD Skin Care by Minnie Dlamini. The project has been in the pipeline for a minute, therefore seeing the fruits of Minnie’s hardwork finally paying off, is truly inspiring as those benjamins roll in.
