RHOD: LaConco spills the tea on her relationship with Thobile “MaKhumalo” Mseleku

The second season of Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD), continues to receive rave reviews from social media users and we are here for it.

Showmax released the fourth episode today and it immediately left tongues wagging. The last episode left viewers with many questions but this week’s episode saw many of them being addressed.

As the ladies are now starting to know each other, viewers are here for all the drama and friendships the create. An interesting conversation ensued between LaConco, Mabusi and Londie London about Thobile “MaKhumalo” Mseleku’s event during which LaConco addressed the animosity between her and MaKhumalo.

In last week’s episode LaConco was one of the housewives who were not impressed by Thobile’s late arrival at her event. What made things worse as that they didn’t know who the host was. LaConco said she expected someone very influential like Oprah Winfrey only to found out it was Thobile, “You know I am expecting some private jets, red carpets, Oprah Winfrey is in Durban or some Beyonce has landed or somebody special, we were invited by Thobile. I have never been bored like this in my life.” she said.

Viewers noticed that Thobile was probably not on her good books and were curious as to why. When asked by Londie London if she knew Thobile, she said she does but they do not have any relationship and she does not even have her number nor her social media handles.

“I am friends with MaYeni. When I arrived at the Mseleku household she welcomed us, she was very bubbly. I was still working at Vuma FM she came for an interview. She was very cold, it was as if I was not in the same room, gosh, I was shocked because not so long ago. I saw her at the wedding and I wondered if she’s the type that is only friendly when there are people around. So it means she was not genuine.

“I want to have a conversation with her and tell her that I am not going to be her fool,” she said.

Now, viewers are dragging LaConco for apparently encouraging the hate on MaKhumalo to the other women.

@Elmo_M02 tweeted “Laconco should get off this high horse she’s on man. What makes her think that she’s better than Thobile. Uyangbora lo.#RHODurban.”

@khulisowitness1 tweeted “LaConco continues to annoy me. Not her recruting people to hate Thobile; why not give them the chance to get to know her and decide for themselves what kind of a person she is? This woman is two faced; to think I once loved and respected her so much. #RHODurban.”

@siyah_94 tweeted “LaConco is really fishing for a storyline and beef with Thobile, it’s actually annoying and mean girl energy🙁#RHODurban.”

Just recently Thobile was being dragged for her Mzumbe home and Speaking to Drum Magazine, said it would have been misleading for her to be found at a new house in Durban rather than her Mzumbe house just for the sake of wanting to be glamorous on the show.

“If you know MaKhumalo then you’d know that she is someone from the rural areas. So, it was going to be misleading to find MaKhumalo, watching her for the first time on a new show, now you find her at a new house and not in Umzumbe,” she told the publication.

“Secondly, it is one thing that I pride myself with to be someone who comes from ‘deep rural’ but made it to the urban areas and was able to mingle with people who are assumed to be from very high standards,” she stated. – ZAlebs
