Johannesburg- Prokid’s younger brother, DJ Citi Lyts has been murdered.
Citi Lyts, real named Sandile Mkhize, was shot and killed in an armed robbery at his Soweto joint in Vilakazi street.
According to a source close to Citi Lyts’ family, the artist was closing his joint at about 10 pm when a group of armed thugs pounced on him and fatally shot him and fled after robbing him of his cash.
Gauteng Police Spokesperson Mavela Masondo said the police were still waiting for the details of the incident.
The rapper, Pro kid, real name, Linda Mkhize died in 2018 after suffering hemosuccus pancreatitis – which is a rare cause of gastrointestinal bleeding.
