A video of a man kicking a woman out of his Mercedes-Benz V-Class caused a stir on social media since Monday, 22 November. While some people slammed the man, others stood up for him.
The man, who gave his name as Njabulo, later took to Instagram to explain exactly what had happened.
He said he had given a lift to some women, and one of them started being disrespectful.
He wrote: “She first tried to steal my phone. It was under her thighs and when we looked for it, she said nothing.”
Njabulo said the woman also tried to steal his wife’s expensive lotion, but he kept quiet. However, he lost his temper when she told him his car was cheap.
He said he often gave people lifts, and the woman was the worst passenger he had ever had.
“She took her shoes off and put her feet on the seat. I had some food and champagne in the car. She popped the champagne and ate the food.”
Njabulo said she then spilt champagne all over the car and demanded money.
“When her friend asked what the money was for, she said we had money and we need to pay them.”
Njabulo said he only shared the video with a few friends and the next thing he knew, it had gone viral.
After watching the video, Sizwe Shabalala wrote: “Njabulo did well because next thing, he would have been in trouble with the lady reporting a fake crime to the police.”
Lora Zulu said: “When you are given a lift, it’s important to respect people’s car.”
Samantha Kobus said: “He should not have grabbed her like that. That alone is abuse.”
The woman’s identity was revealed on social media, but SunTeam was unable to reach her. – Daily Sun
