Esteemed actress Moshidi Motshegwa, who starred as Malefu was written out of The River abruptly and fans were left hurt and confused.
The actress didn’t mince her words on why or how she was fired.
Moshidi Motshegwa revealed that the got written out of the show for her beef with Larona Moagi who plays Tumi.
The River showrunners accused her of being unnecessarily cruel to Larona Moagi.
Moshidi Motshegwa who is an accomplished actress herself, said she felt Larona Moagi was doing a bad job at acting.
She spoke to IOL about her meeting with snow runner Gwydion Beynon.
“I had gone to meetings with him about the scripts and Gwydion told me to stop being cruel to Larona”
“We can’t cast people from Instagram, give them a huge role and not give the support,” “I even said the meetings (with the producers) that Larona is struggling because she’s not an actress.”
