Top 5 SA celebs who disappeared out of the blue from the Entertainment industry

There are those celebrities who used to be popular within the entertainment industry whereas now they’re nowhere to be seen. Some of them have been forgotten, and you’d swear that they had never appeared on television. Take a look on the five South African celebrities who have lost popularity due to their disappearances on TV:

1. Mpendulo Buthelezi

Mpendulo was the presenter of the SABC 1’s dancing competition show from the year 2006 to 2012. He was working together with Thembi Seete.

Mpendulo is originally from Mpumalanga, he graduated from Matshidiso High School in Meadowlands in 2000. The 34-year-old talent told Daily Sun that he’s been selling shoes on the streets for several years now alongside six friends.

2. Kedibone Mkhabela

Kedebone Mkhabela was a continuity presenter on SABC 1 (2002-2006) and as the co-host of the SABC1 youth talk show Mzansi Insider. Kedi is popularly known as the dancer radio personality, fashion designer, dancer and singer.

This 41 year old was born and bred in Pienaar, Mpumalanga in the year 1980. She attended a number of schools in the country (Yedwa Primary, Mbokodo Higher Primary, Esikhisini Combined, Soulsridge High, Central High and EJ Singwane Senior Secondary School) and matriculated in 1998 at the age of 18.

3. Mandla Gaduka

Mandla used to play the acting role in the SABC 1’s soap opera; Generations playing Choppa. In 2011 he was one of the contestants on the SABC1 reality competition Dance Your Butt Off. His weight at the start of the competition was 87.0kg and his BMI 32.7kg/m2.

This talented actor was born and bred in Mafikeng in the North-West Province, although he currently resides in Pretoria. Mandla also acted the character of Solomon on the SABC 1’s comedy series; Gauteng Maboneng.

4. Buyile Mdladla

Buyile Mdladla is a South African actor and presenter best known for his acting role ‘Lungile Mabena’ on the SABC 1’s Soapie; Generations.

Buyile was born in a small village just outside the town of Ladysmith in Kwazulu-Natal. After matric, he enrolled at the Wits School of Dramatic Art. Since he left Generations, he had never appeared to any TV show.

5. Mulalo Ndou

Mulalo used to play the acting role of Kamo, in the SABC 1’s educational drama series; Skeem Saam. Mulalo was born and raised in Pretoria.

Since she left Skeem saam, she has never been seen on any TV drama, perhaps she has joined those who decided to call it a quit in the entertainment industry for normal jobs.
