The celebrated South African media personality is making all sorts of headlines of late. The media personality Lerato Kganyago saw herself trending after she was spotted living large in the Western Cape. No doubt she is not new to the soft life but of interest was that she was whipping in a drop-top Ferrari.

The bubbly personality was caught off guard driving around in Camps Bay with Ferrari FF with a market value of at least R4 million. In the mix of things, one Tik Tok user had to ask where celebrities get money to live luxurious lives like this. Well, let’s dive into Lerato’s road to fame and how much she earns from gigs and side hustles.

She was born on 22 July 1982 in Soweto, South Africa. After matriculating, she capped herself with academic qualifications in Public Relations and Travel and Tourism from Damelin College. However, she then joined Qatar Airways as a flight attendant.

In 2009 she made all sorts of headlines when she tied the knot with Bafana Bafana talisman Katlego Mashego. However, in 2013, the two called it quits. In 2020 she found love in the arms of Thami Ndlela but later broke up. In the wake of her fallout, she married a Boksburg business mogul.

Her illustrious career spans decades. Her thrust into the limelight came through modelling in 2002. In the mix of things, she later joined SowetoTV as a host. However, in the wake of her gig, she joined the SABC1 lifestyle show The Link.

In 2015 she joined radio and won several gigs, including on Metro FM and Jozi FM. She later made appearances on small screens on Muvhango and The Wild. The media personality earns around R80 000 per month from her gigs. And as of 2021, she has an estimated net worth of around R6.8 million.
