Royal AM football club President Shauwn Mkhize expressed her happiness after receiving a special gift from Pitso Mosimane – a signed and framed jersey. She took to Instagram to thank the Al Ahly manager for his gesture.

After receiving the gift, Mkhize said the country should be proud of Pitso Mosimane for his achievements in Egypt after winning two African Champions League trophies in the space of ten months.

‘Guys, these are some of the things that we as South Africans should be proud of. Come to think of it, the club he went to coach had won eight champions league trophies, and he gave them two to make them ten in the space of ten months,’ MamMkhize said.

She also said Pitso is representing South Africa well in the north African country. ‘He is there and raising our South African flag, and we are so proud of him. And thank you for this,’ the Royal AM president said while holding the framed jersey.

Mkhize posted took to Instagram to thank Pitso with the following message:

Thank you, my brother, Pitso Mosimane, for thinking of us and sending this wonderful gift; I hope that your winning mentality will rub in on us 😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣.On behalf of all of us @royalam_fc, we are honoured to receive this signed jersey. We are super proud of you! Keep raising our flag high.

Al Ahly is currently sitting top of the Egyptian Premier League table after winning the opening three games, scoring at least four goals in two of the matches. Mosimane’s side put four past Ismaily without a reply, despite finishing the game with ten men. Al Ahly thrashed bitter rivals Zamalek 5-3 to take early control of the domestic league in a more significant win.

On the southern part of the continent, Royal AM is performing better than expected. Despite losing their first match, the club run by MamMkhize’s youthful son Andile Mpisane currently sits fourth on the log, seven points adrift of holders Sundowns. Royal AM beat Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and drew with Orlando Pirates.
