MEC of transport in KZN and anc member in good standing died of COVID-19 complication s. His death broke so many people’s hearts.
He was laid to rest in his final place today. But what shocked South Africans was that there were no plastics on his coffin.
People who die of COVID-19 are put in a body bag and their coffins are wrapped with plastics.
The issue of wrapping coffins with plastic has caused an unrest in the province of eastern cape as people want the plastic around coffins to be removed so they can perform rituals. While some believed that the plastic suffocate the corpse.
But with the anc mec things are different his coffin is wrapped in South African flag with no sign of plastics and a special ambulance for his wife who tested positive for COVID-19.
With the poor things are different no ambulance for families who tested positive and coffins are wrapped with plastics.
Are those plastics fot the poor people and not for the politicians aint we equal in this country.
People of eastern cape are advised not to remove the plastic but there is no plastics around coffins of politicians.
