Actress Zoe Mthiyane (40) is popular for playing the role of Zitha Langa on SABC 1 soapie opera Generations The Legacy. Zoe was fired on Generations The Legacy cast after she got in domestic trouble with her husband and fellow cast member Raphulana Seiphemo who played the role of Tau Mogale on the soapie. Raphulana was involved in a love triangle with an administration employee and niece to Generations The Legacy owner Mfundi Vundla.
Mthiyane was believed to have lost her mind and always showed up drunk for scene shooting leading to her immediate dismissal.
In October 2020, Zoe confirmed that she is no longer part of Generations: The Legacy. She also denied that she went to work drunk, saying that the lies were peddled by people who were out to get her.
