Muvhango’s Chief Azwindini Heartbroken

Gabriel Temudzani is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Chief Azwindini Mukwevho on the SABC2 soapie Muvhango, since 2000.

The actor said he was happy to have been able to help those in need as delivered food parcels to those in need during lockdown.

The star said the lockdown has also affected their ability to earn multiple streams of income because every activity that would enable them as entertainers to earn money, has been put on hold.

Sadly, the Department of Arts and Culture has sidelined us by making the process of getting funding from them almost impossible to succeed. Gabriel said.

Beside his own stress of not earning income,the actor said he was happy to have been able to help those in need. It was so heartbreaking for him seeing so many people living in abject povert especially women and children.
