Sbahle Mpisane Arrested in Midrand – Out On Bail

Reality TV sensation Sbahle Mpisane, stepdaughter of business mogul Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize and daughter of former Metro police officer Sbu Mpisane, found herself in hot water during the festive season.

Reports from Zimoja reveal that she was arrested for reckless and negligent driving in Midrand, Johannesburg.

Sbahle, aged 30, allegedly faced the charges after an incident on Maxwell Drive.

According to Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo, spokesperson for the Gauteng South African Police Service (SAPS), Sbahle was subsequently released on bail.

The court dates for her appearance will be confirmed soon.

Sbahle Mpisane is in a bit of a sticky situation. The Kwa Mam’ Mkhize star is said to have been arrested over the festive season for reckless and negligent driving, and is awaiting her court hearing.

This isn’t the first time Sbahle has made headlines for her driving.

In August 2018, she was involved in a near-fatal accident in Durban, resulting in a permanent injury to her right leg.

The fitness enthusiast, who now wears a moon boot due to the surgical removal of her ankle bone, opened up about the incident in a candid interview with YouTuber Owamie Netshivhazwaulu in 2022.

Sbahle admitted to having a few drinks before the 2018 crash but clarified that she doesn’t drink to get drunk.

She attributed the accident to a situation involving a drunk driver on the road. Feeling unsafe, she accelerated to distance herself from the erratic driver, leading to her BMW 4 series hitting the sidewalk, causing a series of unfortunate events that ultimately led to a collision with a tree.

As Sbahle Mpisane navigates legal challenges once again, the public awaits further details on the upcoming court proceedings.
