Kaizer Chiefs supporters are in for a treat as their beloved goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune, makes a triumphant comeback to the team following his suspension.

The club announced the exciting news on Wednesday, just ahead of the highly anticipated Soweto derby clash against Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium this Saturday.

Khune’s return comes after a period of suspension triggered by an incident where he allegedly showed up to training under the influence.

Despite the setback, Khune continued to showcase his skills, notably featuring for the Carling All-Stars XI in the Carling Cup match against Stellenbosch FC in January.
