Cassper Nyovest Responds To AKA’s GOAT List
You may recall Cassper’s verse on ‘Phumakim’ where the rapper humorously says: “AKA’s favourite rapper, I guess I made it on the Forbes List.”
Well Cassper’s induction, along with 9 other rappers into the Forbes list was made official over the weekend and touched a few nerves.
TOP 10 SA HIP HOP GOAT LIST 🐐… PRO, AKA, KO, TUMI, KWESTA. NASTY C. HHP. KHULI CHANA. JR. And that other fuckin’ guy …. In that order.

Whether AKA intended for that to happen or not, ranking Cassper Nyovest at the bottom or even adding him to the list got many talking; including Mufasa himself.
However, his subtle response revealed that he is on a different lane and on his way to achieving bigger things than being on ‘some list’. Not to mention Supa Mega’s lack of respect when mentioning Casspers name, “that other f***in guy” – that was enough for Cass to just mind his own booming business and switch to better lanes.

Recently, Cassper candidly spoke about the struggles he faced in the industry and went on to give himself a pat on the back for overcoming those challenges.

Fans came to show the rapper support and encouraged him to keep on flourishing and break boundaries. One AKA fan, Scoop Makhathini also showed some support in a twitter thread.
In one of the tweets he wrote: “Forever you have changed the game. Forever your contribution and your work will never go unrecognized. Even with this piano/hip hop wave you were the first. When most did not see it.”
