Forever Yena: Watch Dr Nandipha and Thabo Reunited And So Cozy In Court

THE case against all the accused in the Thabo Bester prison escape case has resumed in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 8 August.

Facebook r@pist and murderer, Bester and his girlfriend, Dr Nandipha Magudumana have met in court for the first time after being apprehended while on the run in Tanzania in April 2023.

When Bester walked into the courtroom, he sat next to Nandipha. They couple, who were both wearing white tops, couldn’t stop smiling at each other.

Bester escaped from the Mangaung Correctional Centre in May 2022, where the body of Katleho Mothusi Bereng was used as a decoy for him to escape.

Twelve people, including Bester, have been arrested and face various charges including defeating the ends of justice, fraud, assisting a convicted prisoner to escape from lawful custody and violation of a corpse.

All the accused are out on bail, except Bester, Magudumana and Zimbabwean national Zanda Moyo.

In July, the Free State High Court dismissed Dr Magudumana’s urgent application where she argued that her arrest in Tanzania and subsequent deportation for detention in South Africa was done illegally.

However, the court found that Magudumana had participated in the process of her deportation.
