Thabo Maputla’s final moments break Mzansi

Thabo Maputla’s real name is Cornet Mamabolo. He was born in Limpopo on the 10th August 1990 and moved to Johannesburg in 2004 when he was only 14 years old. He grew up with a dream of becoming a performer or a biotechnologist. He studied at the Wits University where he graduated in Bachelor of Arts in the drama arts.

Cornet attended high school in Midrand at the school known as Eqinisweni Secondary School. His acting talent was made public by himself in 2003. In 2011, Cornet landed himself a role as Thabo Maputla on Skeem Saam. He has had a few roles with being Mpho on Z2020 Orlando East and being Tebza on Zabalaza 3 years ago. Cornet also worked as a stage manager for a few theatre productions in the country.

As Thabo Maputla on Skeem Saam, he is always in trouble alongside his friend Kwaito. The 2 are always being called left and right for testifying against other people who are so close to them. Rachel knows them better that anyone else at School.

The last thing they need is to testify against Emkay for the death of Jama who was also their friend. Now they have to choose whether they continue being state witnesses or not. If they are not considering helping the state, they may also face being sentenced as it is known to everyone that Kwaito and Thabo were present when Jama passed away.
