Mother got arrested in Free State for allegedly k*lling her children

A 38-year-old mother from the Free State was arrested in the hospital after her two sons, aged 15 and 19, tragically lost their lives.

The incident occurred on Thursday, 1 June, when the boys returned home from school and consumed food allegedly prepared by their mother.

According to Sergeant Mahlomola Kareli, a spokesperson for the Free State police, both boys began feeling unwell and were promptly rushed to a local hospital.

Despite being taken to the emergency room, they sadly succumbed to their illness.

Following this devastating turn of events, the mother returned home but soon experienced similar symptoms.

Subsequently, she too was admitted to the hospital, where she was arrested.

Two cases of murder have been opened, and investigations are currently underway to shed light on this tragic situation.
