SASSA Introduces Queue Management System to Improve Grant Beneficiaries' Experience
As payday approaches for grant beneficiaries, the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has taken steps to enhance customer experience and eliminate lengthy queues at Post Offices.
The agency has implemented a queue management system in 43 offices nationwide to provide a smoother process for social grant applications.
Recognizing the inconvenience and frustration caused by long queues, SASSA aims to ensure that beneficiaries have a hassle-free experience when applying for their social grants.
By introducing this new system, the agency hopes to reduce waiting times and streamline the application process.

Additionally, SASSA has shared important information for beneficiaries with expired SASSA/Postbank gold cards. They can continue using their expired cards until 31 December 2023, providing some relief to those concerned about accessing their funds.

- Older persons: 2 August
- Disability grants: 3 August
- Children’s grant: 4 August
