BREAKING: Zoe Mthiyane (Zitha) Fired From Generations Following Emotional Break Up With Rapulana Seiphemo

Generations: The Legacy star Zoe Mthiyane who plays the role of Zitha has been fired from the popular SABC 1 soapie.

Zoe suffered an emotional breakdown after breaking up with veteran actor and former Generations: The Legacy and The Queen star Rapulana Seiphomo. The actress took the break up badly and is reported to have been spiraling out of control. The 39-year-old star was suspended from the show after allegations that she was abusing alcohol and showing up for work drunk and late.

According to renowned entertainment reporter, Phil Mphela, Zoe herself confirmed the sad news. Writing on social media, Phil said,

According to City Press, Zoe broke up with the 52-year-old Rapulana after she learned that he was cheating on her with one of her workmates, who is currently working on Generations: The Legacy. However, the identity of the colleague who was having an affair with Rapulana is yet to be divulged. Zoe is said to have been supporting Rapulana when he was battling a court case against the South African Revenue Service (SARS).

Zoe seems to be unlucky in love. She has a 9-year-old son with former lover and celebrated sports journalist Robert Marawa. The two had a highly publicized legal battle after she appealed for the monthly maintenance to be reviewed upwards. Zoe told True Love that the two had been friends for over seven years before the commencement of their relationship. She said that she ended the relationship after both of them went through personal issues.

The vivacious actress also had a nasty breakup with Lebo M in 2016 after being engaged for almost a year. The break up also made the headlines after Lebo M released a press statement claiming that the engagement had crumbled when the two could not reach an agreement on the pre-nuptial contract. Lebo said that she had hoped to solve all issues behind closed doors. She also said that she was not going to fight back against Lebo M’s allegations because the two have a child together.
